TREE-TY PROVIDES

Tree-Ty provides an android mobile application.

Only registered people can use Tree-Ty app. User has to sign in to access this app.

User needs to have internet connection in the phone.

User needs to allow access for Camera of the phone.

User needs to allow access for Gallery of the phone.

User needs to allow the app to access GPS of the phone.

ANDROID APP SOLUTION

The Android App version of Tree-ty aims to mobilize the University’s student community across disciplines to be more inquisitive about their campus trees and explore them in the Green Zone area to gather more information about them. In turn, Tree-ty also wants to enrich itself by their inputs that they may offer by adding to the inventory from their own knowledge base. All current and former students are also encouraged to share interesting anecdotes related to trees- if and how these have become embedded in their memory of the campus or whether they can recollect any significant incident associated with one or more trees.

HOW APP WORKS

User needs to install the Android app and sign in using his/her registered information

After login, user will be able to save the tree/plant details with an image as well.

Here the app will use the current location of the user and save it against that tree.

All the tree information can be edited as Admin users.

Read only users can only view the existing information for a particular tree.

User’s current location will be used to find the nearby tree details.
